At $3 million per 30-second spot, this year's Super Bowl commercials had to deliver humor and entertainment AND pitch the product in some shape or form to consumer concerns. Unfortunately for advertisers, this meant trying to address our nation's recession worries that seem to overshadow pretty much everything else nowadays. Recession = downer = not funny. If you haven’t seen "The Last King of Scotland" yet, you definitely haven’t seen the most violent movie I’ve seen in a long time! Although the majority of the movie only hints at violence or is tame compared to most, there are two scenes that nearly blew me away (and made me want to swear off any movie that isn’t “G” rated for the rest of my life).
